The flue has clearly got me in it's grips since a fortnight or I would have been shouting from the rooftops !!
You know I'm totally in awe of Anna Aspnes designs and now I'm getting the opportunity to be a guest CT member. Such fun , it's a great CT always encouraging and praising and explaining/sharing how they got to a certain layout . I'm learning a lot from them.
Some layouts I did this last week all with Anna's goodies available at Oscraps

I did it....
Jippey I finished my Ashton Shawlette . It is knitted in Malabrigo lace wool following a pattern by Dee O'Keefe the pattern is available at Ravelry.
It took me quite a while to finish as I was getting stuck on one needle again and again. There's a lot of counting and concentration involved! and concentration is not my strongest point anymore.
A friend with lots of knitting experience tried to help me over the hurdle and even she did not manage so it was handed over to another friend and she did manage to get me on the right track again. After that it was easy peasy. I'm even contemplating starting another one.

baby pullover- my favourite pattern
Another baby pullover made with my favourite Drops pattern, the only thing I change on it is the length of the sleeves as they are always far too long.
I'm not a fan of the traditional pink or blue versions and have even dared to make a black/white/grey one. I can here the sighs of horror from some people!
