busy bee

This week saw me putting the early potatoes in the polytunnel. Some of the strawberries are already flowering and the vege seeds are starting to grow.
Not much news on the lambing side though.
Still only the one lamb and the one that died and another one born dead which was only half grown. And then we found one of the ewes in a ditch , dead . At moments like that you wonder why you're doing this.
Fingers crosed the rest will arrive safely.

Awww Ellen - Lots of sadness with the losses - but what a cutie little black lamb - I hope poor old billy no mates get some more friends to gamble with soon.

we were planting our potatoes the other day - no polytunnel for us though ...must get down to the lottie this weekend see whats doing - thanks fully it has rained every day since last weekend so no watering visits required for the seeds I put in last w/e
