I love the way the moss has grown on these old cottage walls and the walls are so well built much nicer then modern day brick or the stuff you see out here harling or something?? Cheap but without a soul.
Give me a cottage any time. These cottages were left empty after the Highland clearings. the owner decided that the ground was too good for people and the sheep should be on there. And now no people and no sheep.

Ik vind het prachtig zoals het mos op de stenen is gegroeid en de muren zijn zo mooi, veel beter dan een bakstenen muur of wat je hier vaak ziet van betonblokken en gestuced met ja hoe heet dat ?? kiezelsteentjes en ???? lekker goedkoop maar er zit geen ziel in .
Deze cottage werden ontruimd tijdens de Highland Clearings. de eigenaren vonden de grond te goed voor e mensen en er moesten schapen op en wat zie je nu??? geen mensen en geen schapen.
