Fly -----on the wings of love

Wings is the theme for Gothic Arch this week. It reminded me straight away of the song by the Olsen Brothers. I have used bits of a kit called Botanica by Roxi Hardegree, an overlay by Lisa Bowman and the butterfly cluster from Digidonna all from Digitalcraftcottage.

The image is from Lisasalteredart.

is there someone in digi blogland who can tell me how to get rid of that

white background??

vleugels is het thema bij Gothic Arches deze week, ik moest gelijk aan dat mooie lied van de Olsen Brothers denken. " fly on the wings of love".

ik heb een paar dingen van een kit Boatanica van Roxi hardegree gebruikt en een overlay van Lisa Bowman , de vlindercluster is van Digidonna.

This is beautiful, Ellen. Gorgeous colors.

Match your blog background and use the paintbucket to pour in the color. For the background you are using, which happens to be the same as mine, the code for the color is fbf2d7. To find out where to stick these wonderful numbers and letters, click on the paintbrush color (top color square at the bottom of the tools). Find the place on the popup box where there are numbers and letters. Change them to be what I have given you. Play around with this till you can figure out what the heck I'm talking about. It works. I do it every time I do an arch.

thank you Faye, I tried the numbers you gave me, it was much better but still visible so I tried to copy the pattern from the blog and used that instead.
thanks for pointing me in this direction it looks 10 times better.

Dear Ellen - once again you have done a beautiful arch... I have never tried digi-art so I can't help you with that problem. Did you know that the Olsen brothers wrote that song for mothers day in Denmark?

Beautiful arch, Ellen.
If you are using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, there is a very easy way to eliminate a white background. Or a plain background in any colour.
Click on the pink eraser at the left hand side of screen and then click on the magic extractor eraser which appears with two other erasers on the top tool bar. When you have clicked on the magic extractor, take it to you picture and click on the unwanted background and it will magically disappear and leave a "cellular" background. You then need to click on SAVE AS and save it as a PNG format (the drop down box has all the choices). You can then bring your picture back to any background and it should appear, as is, without the plain background that was there originally. Hope that helps.
