WATER

it's water for 3 Muses this week. A bit of a painful subject at the moment as we have been without for over 2 weeks now.
It does show us how much we depend on it coming out of the tap but oh boy do we miss it when this is not the case.

Ellen, I'm so sorry you are having troubles with water, but it made you create a great and original piece of art! You are so right, we take things like water and electricity and clean air for granted much too easily.

Oh wow this is fantastic.
Gorgeous water creation.

Poor you. It was bad enough the other year when our drinking water was contaminated but at least we could still wash! Nice little piece anyway, if that is any consolation!

Ellen, your piece on Water is gorgeous and the colors are just perfect. I know what you are saying about taking water for granted. We are on a well and when we lose our electric power due to storms and such, we also do not have water. We have learned to cherish our water supply and are very careful about its use. Hope your troubles are cleared up soon.

Your piece is sobering, Ellen. We take it so for granted, and it is not until we are without it we truly appreciate such a simple thing as water. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Ellen the weather is so bad I know, and I hope you get your water supply back soon, it must be awful without it. But how you will remember the situation every time you look back at this gorgeous little piece.

Sterkte ermee.

What a painful subject for you. Yikes!!! It is times like this we find how resourceful and conservative we can be. Sorry you are going through that right now. Maybe if more people did, people would respect our natural resources more. Thank you for sharing your take on this week’s theme. I have browsed through your wonderful blog and have found it very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your talent with everyone.

I cannot even imagine how you're making it without water, Ellen, or how you created such a beautiful piece of art on the topic. But your work for AM this week is so lovely and dream-like. I love your blog too, BTW!

Beautiful and thoughtful. I really like the way you combined the technical and the more idyllic aspects.

Can't imagine being without water for that long - hope youget it back soon. Your piece really shows your appreciation of something we take so much for granted.
