We've got WATER !!

hurray we've got water again, the pipes suddenly started
burbling at midnight and when I opened the tap lovely orange water
came rushing out. What bliss, I can flush the loo, have my own shower, the jerrycans can go back in shed .
Thank you all lovely neighbours who came rushing out with offers to do our washing , provide showers/baths , fill the jerrycans etc.

Now back to the challenge for Somethingcompletelydifferent which again is an arch this time with Fashion as the theme.
I have chosen a picture of one of my forebearers, we don't know who she was exactly a great great great- mother??
The picture was taken in Ede and she is wearing the traditional black outfit and bonnet.
The gated garden is a freebie from Rein. The butterflies from a kit calledTime in a Bottle by Artisan Guild.

xxxxxxx

Groetjes Marjolijn.

Such a beautiful composition. I love how you used one of your ancestors as the focal point... certainly interesting to see the fashion from back then! Gorgeous work! (And glad you finally have water again!)

Hi Ellen! Sorry I am late with my comment this week. I smiled when I read your comments about frozen pipes. Ann (Taluula) has been keeping me informed on her situation in Yorkshire where they have had a lot of similar problems. The irony is that we are in the middle of a really dreadful heatwave - three days in a row with temperatures around 43 deg C which is 110 or more on the Fahrenheit scale. It is a world of extremes.
Your picture is wonderful and I could drown in those cool greens. Great work! Thanks so much for taking part in the challenge.
