Birds of a feather

it's birds of a feather for the 3 Muses this week.I'm totally lacking inspiration these last few weeks so am playing
" safe"
I thought of these soaking wet beasts in New Zealand they were feeling so sorry for themselves.
Because it was so wet there were no other visitors and we had a private tour all round the farm , just the 2 of us. We were even allowed in the nursery and got to hold a baby ostrich .

Ellen, as you probably know, our third "Muse" Ann (Taluula) is holidaying in New Zealand and guess what? She is being rained on wherever she goes! She packed summer clothes and, when she arrived in NZ, she had to go out and buy warm clothes.
Your collage of ostriches is beautiful. I love it. Lucky you to have been able to walk amongst them. Great work.

What a cool collage Ellen- I love the ostrich farm! I like how you used the color and black and white photos together and your addition of just the right subtle hues really makes for a lovely piece!

WOW! This is great fun. Your background is lovely, and the bedraggled ostriches have a certain stately manner about them. I didn't know their oil products had healing tendencies. Thanks for sharing!

This is really cool. Walking among them must have been totally amazing. I love their eggs and have several. There is actually a couple of ostrich farms in North Carolina. I would like to hold a baby ostrich.I really enjoyed looking at your collage. It inspired me.
