it started by joining a knit and natter group to knit for orphans in Africa
and for premature babies here in Scotland .- then it went onto toys .
Then I wanted to do Aran jersey for a baby arriving next month and
somehow got hooked onto joining a group started by Elizabeth on a Dutch website who
are knitting a blanket.
it is done in squares , each square has a different pattern and you get a
new pattern every fortnight.
Of course you don't have to wait if you don't want to and can just make
up your own pattern or use one from somewhere else.

In the end they get joined to make up a blanket.
I've done 4 squares so far.
In my case they are 25x25 cm each.
