The theme on Take a Word is wings this week.
I'm always in awe of the large gatherings of birds on our electricity lines every autumn . What makes them decide to gather here ?/

Hi Ellen, We have rows and rows of starlings and blackbirds that frequent our power lines as well- it is always a bit astonishing and you have captured that in this wonderful art piece so well!

I love this! I am fascinated by these birds too--starlings? I love to watch them fill the trees and power lines and then fly off all at once! It's a sight that makes me feel so alive!
