the challenge on Objectd'art is to create an out of this world, never seen before humble tag!

Make it your own, paint, sew, decorate, stamp,cut it out, Imagine!

I know it's a tag and a humble one, I've stamped and glued and decorated so part of the brief I've managed.

uhhh it still feels like Friday to me which is why I thought I was just in time

but tomorrow/today there will be another challenge on the Objectd'artblog

Objet D'art

Jennie from the Artisticstamper has started a new challenge blog called Objet d'art .

Right from the start I was full of plans to take part but the first two objets are still staring at me somehow.

This time however I have managed to make one .

I covered my canvas in Gesso mixed with purple paint. Once that was dry I put watered down blue midnight acrylic paint on it.

Then I covered the bottom half with watered down glue and sprinkled some beads, buttons, some foam letters on it.That was covered with a tissue layer and glue again. Once dry ( speed it up with your heatgun if you are as impatient as I am ) Then colour it with a few colours of alcohol ink and finally rub some metallic rub on into it.

I just love the effect .
