Last night I spent 3 hours trying to make a card and altering a tin.

7 cards ended up in the bin, and the tin...???? still not right

The alcohol ink didn't want to play , the ribbon came off. The stamped lady on the lid didn't like being gesso'd and what else went wrong after that.I'll go back to my knitting or crochet.. less frustrating.

Anyway the day before I managed this ATC which could do for the ArtyGirlz challenge anything but a card

Home Art

Challenge 66 (the last one for this year) at Arty Girlz blog is Home Art - create something that you can display in your home..

I took a little frame from the poundshop to bits and created this. I covered it in Gesso and put Distress ink over that . The birdstamp is from Crafty Individuals it has several layers of UTEE on it.

The strings at the bottom are jute and the ashbranch is from a McGill's punch

Small art

the Arty Girlz challenge 65 is called small art ,anything as long as it's no bigger than an ATC.

I've chosen some stampboard of 2x 2inches, coloured it with Distress inks, stamped the ??? image with Ranger Archival coffee ink and the background is the French script stamp from Cornishheritagefarms and the other one is a squigly mini from Paperartsy .

A couple of coats of UTEE and some gold Krylon on the edges.

De uitdaging bij Arty Girlz is een klein object wat maakt niet uit zolang het maar niet groter dan een ATC is. Ik heb een stuk stampboard gebruikt van 2x2 inches. gekleurd met Distressinkt, stempel van ??? met coffee Ranger Archival inkt . De achtergrond is de French script van Cornishheritagefarms en de andere een Squigly mini van Paperartsy. een paar lagen UTEE en Krylon goud langs de randen.

I decided to use my long neglected Heidi Swapp masks (I was reminded of them by the new Tim Holz masks ) I played with distress inks , stamps from the set Beautiful by Cornishheritagefarms and the text one is from Paperartsy .

It also counts for the challenge on http://artygirlzchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ as I have used my favourite colour green/blue

I'm happy with the outcome ( but see now that I forgot to distress ink the edges oops, will do so later on .)

By cornishheritagestamps is de challenge deze week om woorden te gebruiken.
Ik heb de heidi swapp masks maar eens tevoorschijn gehaald, werd aan ze herinnerd door de nieuwe Tim Holz masks . Ik heb stempels gebruikt van de set beautiful van Cornishheritagefarms and de woorden zijn van Paperartsy.
Ik ben wel blij hoe het geworden is, zie nu alleen dat ik vergeten ben de randjes te distressen ( maar dat ga ik zo nog wel doen)
