challengecombo

The challenge on Rainbowlady is to make a green and black card ( one of my favourite colourcombinations)
On Stampsomething it is no stamping allowed and on
Daringcardmakers it is recycle something .

The recycled bit is the flower which I cut out of a bookpage with a Bosskut die.The background is done with black magic Colorcore ,embossed with the cuttlebug folder and sanded. Little ash branches courtesy of my McGill punch

Home Art

Challenge 66 (the last one for this year) at Arty Girlz blog is Home Art - create something that you can display in your home..
I took a little frame from the poundshop to bits and created this. I covered it in Gesso and put Distress ink over that . The birdstamp is from Crafty Individuals it has several layers of UTEE on it.
The strings at the bottom are jute and the ashbranch is from a McGill's punch

Traditional silver and gold plus art nouveau

for this one I have combined the Tandateaser challenge which is Art Nouveau with the DCM last challenge of this year called traditional silver and gold.
The image is from a cd someone gave me . The leaves is the ash branch punch by Mc. Gill

Brown and green

Themethursday has as challenge to use thecolours brown and green. For the background I used green and blue distressink and then stamped a dotted background from Cornishheritagefarms over it in brown , added to that my new abc backgroundstamp ( again from CHF) these are 4 1/2 x 6 inches . The tag I made a while ago and I cannot remember if I have that face stamp or that I printed it .The leafs are done with a large Mc Gill ash branch punch
