at christmasandbirthdaycards they have a sketch this time.

As I've had enough of making christmascards I opted forsomething else. The man stamp is from Paperartsy, the crown came as a freebie with the Craftstamper magazine.

Bij birthdays and christmas ( of net andersom) is het deze week een schets. omdat ik geneog heb van kerstkaarten maken heb ik voor wat anders gekozen. De man stempel is van Paperartsy en de kroon was gratis bij het CraftStampers tijdschrift.

my home is my castle

For a long time it's been on my "to do" list to make a word book

and I finally got round to it.I've started with some easy letters to cut out before embarking on the difficult ones( cutting out is not my forte )

het stond al een tijd op mijn lijstje om een woordboekje te maken en eindelijk ben ik er aan toe gekomen.Ik ben begonnen met wat makkelijke letters voordat ik aan de moeilijke begin. Uitsnijden is niet mijn sterke punt.

The picture on the right is an old corrigated iron house thats standing in our grounds. Used as storage but one day we'll replace it with a wooden one I hope..

Rechts is een oud huisje gemaakt van golfplaten , nu gebruikt als opslagplats maar ooit in de toekomst zullen we het vervangen door een houten chalet hoop ik.

left is looking down at our place from the hill ( our own hill Dutch people) behind us you can see Ben Resipole in the distance and on the right is an aerial view of the whole set up of the house, outbuildings and caravans.Can you spot my craftvan?

links is gemaakt vanaf de heuvel achter ons ,( een van onze eigen heuvels Hollanders!!) je kunt Ben Resipole in de verte zien en rechts is een luchtfoto van ons huis en alle bijgebouwen en caravans . Zien jullie mijn craftvan ?

This is the bay at the back of our croft where I do my cano-ing .It dries out completely at low tide and you can walk all round the islands .

dit is de baai waar ons land in uit loopt en waar ik met mijn kano kan spelen. Bij eb valt ie helemaal droog en kan je om de eilandjes heen lopen.

I have used Gesso, Glimmer Mist and Distress Ink to color the pages, plasterers tape came in handy too and an old interior decorating book that slowly gets demolished to pull out bits and pieces. The Stitchels from Artistic Stamper wormed their way into this book as well, ha ha. Am I addicted to them or not?

And the freebie from the Craft Stamper magazine was used as well

Ik heb Gesso, Glimmer Mist en Distress inkt gebruikt voor de bladzijden, stucadoor tape of hoe het mag heten dat net spul. kwam ook goed van pas en en oud boek met staaltjes voor binnenhuis inrichting wat langzaam maar zeker gesloopt wordt voor de kleine frutseldingen , randjes en kantjes en koord.

De Stitchels hebben zich ook weer in dit boekje genesteld ben ik er aan verslaafd of niet ?

het kroontje en de kleine diamant stempeltje was de gratis stempel van deze maand in de Craft Stamper magazine .

earthquake and Arch

We were woken up rudely this morning at 4.25 by a loud rumbling moise and then the house shook... it was an eartquake in Glenfinnan that caused this. 3.2 on the Richter scale

Luckily no damage was done .

I got my Craft Stamper magazine yesterday and it is so inspiring , so many great projects .

I made this Arch today I don't know how it came about as I went to my craftvan to start working on a word mini album but I got diverted .

The butterfly and flowers are Stitchels stamps that are part of a prize I won from the Artistic Stamper.

The background was done with pearl acrylic paint and several colours glimmer Mist , you cannot see the shine on the photo.

we werden vanochtend vroeg wat ruw wakker geschud ( letterlijk) door een aardbeving hier in de buurt gelukkig was er geen schade .

Gisteren heb ik het Craft Stamper magazine gekocht en hij staat vol met leuke projekten .

Vanmiddag heb ik deze Arch gemaakt, hoe dat kwam weet ik ook niet , ik ging naar mijn craftvan om aan een woord boekje te werken maar ben duidelijk afgeleid , ha ha.

De achtergrond is gedaam met pearl acryl verf en een paar kleurtjes Glimmermist je kunt hier het glinsteren niet zien. het vlindertje en bloemetje is een deel van de prijs die ik heb gewonnen bij Artisticstamper
