Quick card in a quarter

The Tanda Teaser is to make a quick card in a quarter.Well it would have been in a quarter if I had not changedmy mind( and again and again). But I'm sure if I did it again it would be ready in 10 min. or so.

The Nestabilities help to get a focal point.

The background stamp is another yummy one from Cornishheritagefarms and the little tree ,??? I just cannot remember where that came from - I bought a bit too many craftgoodies lately. I can feel another shoppingban approaching soon.We do need to insulate the house, mmm would rubberstamps work?

voor de Tandateaser deze week moest je een snelle kaart maken binnen een kwartier, dat zou me helukt zijn als ik niet steeds van plan veranderede en nog een keer en nog een keer. De volgende zou vast in 10 minuten klaar zijn.

De nestabilities helpen een focal punt te krijgen . De achtergrondstempel is van Cornishheritagefarms en het boompje?? laat ik dat nou niet meer weten , ik heb ietsje veel craftspullen veroverd de laatste maand.

Ik voel alweer een shoppingban aankomen, het huis moet nodig geisoleerd worden, mm zou dat gaan met rubberstempels?

I've done a non- stamping card for a change and have gone back to my favorite earthy colors.

Traditional silver and gold plus art nouveau

for this one I have combined the Tandateaser challenge which is Art Nouveau with the DCM last challenge of this year called traditional silver and gold.

The image is from a cd someone gave me . The leaves is the ash branch punch by Mc. Gill

The navy ribbon has silver snowflakes on it but thats difficult to see

back in scrapping mode- Tanda Teaser

After 2 weeks of leisure time in Holland and London I've been back in my craftvan.

I found the pattern for this card on Scrappersanonimous

very easy to do and I love the effect.

Since the challenge of Tanda Teaser this week is Fabulous Folds I thought I'd make it for that one and made it a christmas one to add to my stack.

na 2 weken vakantie in Nederland en London ben ik eindelijk weer in mijn craftvan geweest.Ik vond het patroon voor deze kaart op scrappersanonimous , hij is makkelijk te maken en geeft een leuk effect. Sinds de challenge op Tanda Teaser = Fabulous Folds kon ik hem gelijk daarvoor maken en heb er een kerstkaart van gemaakt om aan mijn voorraadje toe te kunnen voegen.

theTanda Teaser challenge this week is from Sheila .......to use initials on your cards.There are many ways you can make your initial pieces.......chipboard, die cuts, print on the computer, stickers etc..........and don't forget that you do not have to be a stamper to enter the challenges........whatever your style or medium we welcome anyone who would like to join in

he ho, watch this ..no stamps I have used an alfabet mask, Glimmer Mist, an oval nestability, a charm ,brads odd bits of paper, button, raffia and some cardboard packaging

Tanda Teaser vroeg dit keer om een kaart met initialen. En zowaar ik heb geen stempels gebruikt. Hi is gedaan met een alfabet mask, Glimmer Mist. Verder heb ik een ovale nestability gebruikt,brads, een charm , een knoop met raffia en wat verschillend papier en een stukje verpakking karton .

Some kind of print

The challenge at Tanda Teaser is from Sheila and involves some kind of print.


"What I would like you to do this week is make a card using print of some kind. It could be old book pages, newsprint, magazine pages etc.You can use it in anyway you like and do anything you like to it in the way of colouring but it must still be identifiable as print."


I scanned a page from a plant bible of 1653 ( I thought it would be better not to rip a page out) and tore this into bits.The edges are done with Distress ink ; the image is sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

For this week's Tanda Teaser the challenge theme is 'Word Play'. In the example above I have used the greeting 'Have a Purrfect Day'. There are numerous others, so, to give you a few examples:- Have a Moovelous Day, Miss Ewe, Thank Ewe, Sorry you are feeling Ruff, Batty for You, Friends Furr-ever, I herd it was your Birthday, Hoppy Birthday, Hap pea Birthday, Happy Baa thday to you etc etc!

I've had this little word stamp for ages and it fits the bill exactly.

Background stamp is from CHF called Cheesecloth backgrounder from their own line .The piggy is one of a set of Dewdropcraftz he is called Paisley Pig

And as you can see I've used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and the oval Nestabilities.

We would like your cards to have something on it that has an engine in it! So if cars aren't your thing you could have a motorbike, scooter, lorry, bus, aeroplane etc.

I have used a background from ??? and my new Boys Toys stamp from Crafty Individuals . The paper is smudged with black chalk
