a box and tag

Challenge nr. 4 by Sue on CBC was make a gift box and a matching tag , there is a tutorial for a square box on there as well if you fancy making one.
I dug up the trusted milkbox template as I really like those.

and another pink ( and green )challenge

combine pink and green is the challenge at CBC .I've used pink twice in a week!! no even three times this one the one for Pink Ribbon and the DCM one.
The butterfly wishes stamp I bought at the craftfair in Holland . The others are Stitchels from the Artisticstamper and the double butterfly is a Spellbinders die .

a little bit of this and some off that

Sue has set challenge nr. 3 at CBC which is to make a card using at least 4 different papers, some ribbon a button and a flower . I used my new water treading punch ( is that what it is called?.The flower is cut from an old jumble sale book and sprayed with coffee and gold Glimmermist

Green and red

On Createdbyhand the challenge is to use red and green , now this overlaps challenge nr. 2 from Sue over at Craftsbycarolyn = use red green and gold on your item very nicely.
Now this one went a bit wrong as I expected it to look more vibrant after adding UTEE over the top , but somehow there are dull patches on it. It is shiny in real life though.

Black Magic

A challenge by Joanne at Craftsbycarolyn was to make a card using black cardstock .As I bought a whole block of Black Magic core card whilst in Holland this was an easy challenge for me .It combines so well with the Cuttlebug embossing folders and the Nestabilities.
The flowerstamp is from a Stitchel set designed by Hels from the Artistic Stamper and I love them.
-----------

no pretty papers

for a challenge on Craftsbycarolyn . The brief was to use stamps and no pretty paper was allowed.

I've been combining several techniques. The stamped background is from a 6x6 scrapblock by CHF the vintage ledger. The swirly background is colorcore that was put through my Big Shot in an embossingfolder and then sanded.
The background behind the lady is several layers of gesso, then several colors of Glimmer mist , the edges are distressed and embossed. The lady is a stamp from
Paperartsy and the diecuts are from Wizard.

Hilde's Challenge

Hilde on Scrapfever has challenged the members to reuse/recycle some packaging , either from craft items or general items.

Carole from Craftsbycarolyn kindly sent me an empty packet of Panadol for altering after an idea by Carol M . this is what I ended up with , it did go wrong with the little pockets inside I'll try and change that tomorrow

Foiled

the dare on the DCM comes from Jo this time

My dare this week is 'Foiled!' -I would like you to utilise some plain old aluminium (aluminum for our friends across the pond!) foil from your kitchen :). You can scrunch it, die cut it, emboss it, ink it, coil it, cover chipboard - or anything else that you choose!

I used a slidemount, covered that in foil then coloured it with alcohol ink and even parted with a bit of my favourite lacy ribbon.
the French wording stamp is from CHF and the boy is part of the Smile sheet from Art Journey.
As one of the challenges on CBC was rip it up I have killed 2 birds with one stone
